I was once told by a wise man that there is a very big difference between competing and excelling. And more so, competing is not something we should be too focused on. He explained that being competitive could actually be destroying our ability to become creative and innovative, which are the essentials for greatness in our modern world.
Now, I know that you all have either wished for, or experienced a lazy weekend that comes without expectation or demand. No chores! No rushing around getting to somewhere you'd rather not be. Just a good old "do what I want to do, when I want to" kind of days. Call it lazy if you choose, but I call it recharging the battery.
Now I know it may be a little controversial and extreme, but if you've ever watched Caster Semenya, the world 800m women's champion, run a race, you would no doubt be thinking, man she looks......er, well, like a man! I don't mean to be harsh, but can you really blame the international atheletics federation for calling her gender into question?
