Right, so as the weekend approaches it’s as if the whole body starts to wind down to a slow elbow raising pace where the only level of active duty is the short distance between the television and the bar fridge. It’s like I have this clock inside that can tell what time of the week I should be doing what kind of activity.

For those on the far right of the planet, I hope your Friday was a good one. For those on the far left, I am filled with enthusiasm for what lies ahead for your Friday. Me? Well, I’m right in the middle I guess. I live down South on the Sunny Side of Africa. So I’m used to the friendly and warm outlook you find down here.

There are some events in life that literally compel us to take a step back and reflect on our life’s purpose. Natural disasters, great tragedies, the passing of a loved one. Whether you pay any interest to these events or not, they can provide us with an opportunity to reflect on our own purpose. To ask ourselves a fairly deep personal question, “what guides me?”

There are many people who have told me wise things before. Some that I remember and some that goes way over my head, but in one particular case, I remember listening to a man by the name of Robert Cooper. He introduced something to me that at first sounded quite odd but yet the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
